Mr. Mario R. Theodore

Mario R. Theodore’s path to founding Fair Price Legal began in the Cook County Sheriff’s Department of Corrections, where he witnessed firsthand how lack of resources can deny people fair access to justice. Frustrated by friends and family being exploited by unscrupulous attorneys, he resolved to offer affordable, high-quality representation grounded in empathy. After earning a journalism degree from Columbia College Chicago, he attended UIC Law School and spent years as a public defender handling misdemeanors through serious felonies. Those experiences sharpened his advocacy skills and deepened his commitment to underserved communities. In 2021 he reopened Fair Price Legal—focusing on family law, immigration (inspired by his own immigrant family), and life-planning matters such as wills and real estate. Working alongside organizations like the Florida Coalition for Domestic Violence and the Florida Police Benevolent Association broadened his expertise. Today, Mario’s reputation for integrity and compassion ensures every client receives the respect and understanding they deserve.
