Biography

Mark Cobb is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Georgia and Alabama; he was graduated from Washington and Lee University Law School in 1991 with his JD; in addition, he holds a BA in English from Berry College. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Solo and Small Firm Practice Section, and the Construction Law Forum where he is active in several specialty divisions. With over 19 years of experience, he has experience in working with owners, developers, design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and materialmen in all aspects related to their businesses. In addition to contract drafting and negotiation, he focuses his career on filing and enforcing mechanics and materialmen's liens (sometimes referred to as construction liens or contractor liens), payment bond claims (Miller Act Claims) and complex construction litigation. In addition, he regularly participates in construction-related arbitration and mediation representing claimants as well as serving as a third-party neutral. He understands the unique needs of the construction professional in Georgia. In addition to his legal work, Mark is active at All Saints Episcopal Church and is the vice-chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Vashti Center. Omicron Delta Kappa; Phi Delta Phi.
