Mr. Mark L. Simpson

Before becoming a trial lawyer, Mark L. Simpson built his career protecting the public as a police officer and detective in Virginia. Working in a high-crime area, he investigated serious felonies and gained extensive courtroom exposure, which ultimately inspired him to pursue a legal career. After law school, Mark served as an Assistant District Attorney in North Carolina, where he handled a large volume of cases and found particular purpose in advocating for victims of crime. He later transitioned into personal injury law, bringing that same drive to help people who have been harmed through no fault of their own. As a Charlotte personal injury attorney, Mark represents children and families in claims against insurance companies, large corporations, and careless drivers. Over the past 25 years, he has litigated injury cases across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia in both state and federal court. He is married, has three sons, lives in Fort Mill, and enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors with his wife.
