Mr. Michael W. Simon

Michael W. Simon is a shareholder with The Simon Law Firm whose practice brings together deep real estate knowledge, business strategy, and courtroom experience. He advises clients on commercial and residential transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements, resolving title and lien issues, acquiring land, and supporting development projects that may involve construction, environmental concerns, covenants, and significant lending and financing. When disputes arise, Mr. Simon litigates in state and federal courts, bankruptcy proceedings, administrative hearings, appellate matters, and arbitration, acting as lead counsel in cases ranging from contract and construction conflicts to creditor’s rights, intellectual property, and tort claims. A substantial and highly confidential part of his work is dedicated to representing professional athletes and sports and entertainment figures, where discretion and precision matter as much as results. Mr. Simon is admitted to practice in Florida and Ohio and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has been recognized by Super Lawyers, and has earned community service honors for his pro bono work. He previously chaired a Florida Bar Grievance Committee and later served on professionalism-focused bar leadership, underscoring the ethical standards that guide his practice. He earned his B.A. from The Ohio State University and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University and has taught as an adjunct professor in real estate law.
