Michael E. Zmijewski is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan's Orlando office. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University's Fox School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Following his undergraduate studies, Michael went on to attend Oklahoma City University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor with high honors. While in law school, he was honored by being inducted into Phi Delata Phi International Honor Society for his commitment to scholastic achievement.
In 2002, following his graduation from law school, Michael moved to Orlando, Florida to begin his legal career. For two years, Michael fought to protect the rights of victims while working as an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. In 2004, he shifted his focus to criminal defense where he garnered extensive courtroom and trial experience defending the rights of clients charged with criminal offenses. Michael now brings this experience with him to Morgan & Morgan to be a zealous advocate for his clients who have been injured by the negligence of others.
Mr. Zmijewski is a member of the Florida State Bar and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Michael has also been recognized and selected as a top 5% attorney by Super Lawyers.
When Michael is not fighting for his clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, either traveling to Tallahassee to visit his daughter or heading to a ballpark to watch his son play baseball.
