Mr. Milton Fuentes

Milton Fuentes is Of Counsel in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Fuentes has over 25 years of legal experience and is registered to practice law before the state and federal trial and appellate courts of the State of Florida and the U.S. Court of International Trade. His representative cases include matters involving general contract issues, joint ventures, corporate transactions and litigation, shareholder disputes, director & officer liability claims, banking and financial transactions and litigation, complex commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, cross-border disputes, real property transactions and litigation, intellectual property and franchise and distribution rights.

Mr. Fuentes has been nominated and approved as Class Action Counsel for representative classes in cases involving claims against various airline s. H e has also been Appellate Counsel in cases before the 3rd District Court of Appeal, the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Florida Supreme Court.

Prior to managing his own practice, Mr. Fuentes was an Associate with a mid-cap law firm in charge of representing the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as Outside Counsel during liquidation and reorganization procedures, as well as national and regional banks concerning transaction and litigation matters. He has spoken at various conferences held in Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, Mexico and Spain generally concerning commercial investment structures, regulatory compliance and risk management in the United States and for U.S. investments abroad.
