Biography

Moawia AlMahareeq began his academic journey at IUPUI, graduating magna cum laude in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Philosophy. He went on to earn his law degree from IU McKinney in 2023. From 2021 to 2022, he worked in the Solicitor General’s Office at the Indiana Attorney General as a law clerk, contributing to pleadings, appellate briefs, and legal research. In 2024, after passing the Indiana Bar Exam, he joined Harwell Gray Legal Counsel as a criminal defense attorney. He manages an active caseload of about 80 clients, with charges ranging from misdemeanors to serious Level 4 felonies. He has defended various sex crimes, domestic battery cases, DUI crimes, etc. He practices law in criminal defense, family law, and several other areas.
