Mr. Nabeel Kibria

Known for calm guidance and hard-edged trial readiness, Nabeel Kibria has spent more than 15 years advocating for clients in Washington, D.C. His core practice is criminal defense, where he handles everything from misdemeanors to serious felonies and complex white-collar cases in both D.C. courts and federal court. He is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and often represents clients in matters that receive significant media coverage. Nabeel’s litigation experience also extends to major civil cases involving mass torts, public harms, and catastrophic events, work that has helped produce over $2 billion in court-awarded damages for victims and survivors. He has been featured by outlets including CNN, ABC News, CBS News, The Washington Post, Business Insider, and the DC Bar Journal, and he is an associate fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. A founding partner of Ervin Kibria Law/Ervin Kibria PLLC, he continues that work as a partner at Monument Legal after the firms merged. He will also lead Monument Legal’s Sports and Athlete Representation practice, set to launch in 2026.
