Biography

I began my practice working as an assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, Massachusetts writing appeals in murder and other felony cases. I then moved back to Maine and interned at the York County District Attorney's office in Maine. Following that, Iwent into private practice, focusing on criminal defense and personal injury. I was a defense attorney in the longest crminal trial in Maine federal court history and wascounsel in US v.FanFan, a recentUS Supreme Court Case, which changed federal sentencing laws. I have been president of the Porsche Club of Maine and race car instructor, and have also raced, and currently own several motorcycles. I sail and race my sailboat, andhave surfed in Hawaii and Central America.
