Mr. Nicholas Bykowsky, Jr.

For over two decades, Nicholas Bykowsky has built a Florida practice centered on business litigation and solving high-stakes legal problems for both public agencies and private companies. His background includes representing the Florida Department of Revenue in tax controversies, working in matters involving the state securities regulator, and counseling businesses on corporate and health care-related issues. Nicholas’s strong working knowledge of Florida courts allows him to craft strategies that fit the realities of each case. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a double major in Economics and Political Science and later earned his law degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He has tried cases as lead counsel in circuit courts throughout Florida’s major cities and handled appeals on behalf of the State of Florida in the District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. Nicholas grew up in northern New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1996. Outside the courtroom, he’s a professional-level trombonist who has performed with concert, orchestral, and jazz groups for years. He enjoys composing music, writing his first novel, traveling west for mountain hikes in Wyoming, and following football every fall—especially the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers.
