Mr. Nicholas J Gottwald

Nicholas Gottwald is an Associate Attorney at Nelson, Taylor & Associates. He specializes in family law, divorce and custody disputes, contract issues, estate planning, criminal defense, and traffic violations. Mr. Gottwald was born and raised in Salt Lake City and graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University. He worked at the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship Immigration Services, in Washington D.C., as an intern while earning his undergraduate degree, and was inspired to attend law school after observing the importance of law first hand. Mr. Gottwald returned to Utah in 2010 and began attending the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, and began working as a Law Clerk with Nelson, Taylor & Associates in 2011. He was admitted to practice law in the state of Utah, in October 2013. Mr. Gottwald enjoys working with people and helping them through some of the most difficult times of their lives, which is reflected in his many positive online reviews and his Top Pro awards from for 2016, 2017, and 2018.
