Biography

Nicholas “Nick” Lake is a trial attorney at Harrell & Harrell, with nearly two decades of experience in the legal field. His practice focuses on personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, and other negligence-related claims.

Nick began his legal career as a prosecutor with the State Attorney’s Office in Jacksonville, Florida, where he served from 2007 to 2012. During that time, he tried more than 70 jury trials and handled cases in specialized divisions such as Homicide and Major Crimes. As a Division Chief, he was responsible for training and mentoring new prosecutors. His work earned recognition from Mothers Against Drunk Driving for his dedication to DUI prosecution and public safety. He later transitioned to civil litigation, bringing with him a trial-tested approach and a deep sense of purpose in representing the injured. Since joining Harrell & Harrell in 2016, Nick has focused on helping clients navigate the legal process with confidence and clarity. Nick is a passionate advocate known for his strong commitment and ability to guide clients throughout every phase of their case.

Nick earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University, graduating in the top 10% of his class. While in law school, he served as executive editor of the Law Review, where he developed a strong foundation in legal writing and analysis. His combined courtroom experience and academic background allow him to build strong legal strategies and advocate effectively on behalf of every client he serves.
