Patrick C. Powell serves as the lead personal injury attorney in Morgan & Morgan's Brunswick, Georgia office, specializing in a wide range of cases including serious automobile collisions, wrongful death, premises liability, general personal injury cases, and other forms of negligence. Originally hailing from Valdosta, Georgia, Patrick graduated Magna Cum Laude from the prestigious University of Georgia with a bachelor’s in political science before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, one of the top 20 law schools in the country. Patrick served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Rockdale County District Attorney’s Office under the Third-Year Practice Act. He also served as a Legislative Assistant Intern for United States Senator Saxby Chambliss and as a Superior Court Intern for Judge Richard Cowart and Judge James G. Tunison. Patrick also was Vice President of the Interfraternity Council, was a Justice for University Judiciary, was involved in Campus Crusade for Christ, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Additionally, Patrick served as the Treasurer of the Student Bar Association at UGA and was on the Executive Board of the Mock Trial Team. His academic background equips him with a comprehensive understanding of legal principles and practices, enabling him to navigate complex legal matters efficiently and effectively on behalf of his clients.

As a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Patrick remains committed to upholding the highest standards of legal ethics and professionalism. Patrick has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Young Lawyers Division for the State of Georgia, has served as President of the Glynn County Young Lawyers Division, and has been co-chairman of Leadership Glynn.
