Mr. Paul Vasquez: Attorney with Michael & Associates Criminal Defense Attorneys

Biography

Paul began his career as a prosecutor in Bexar County before transitioning to criminal defense. He uses his proven trial experience to defend clients facing charges ranging from DWI to capital murder, fighting for justice and fairness.

Originally from Kansas, Paul made Texas his home in 2001 when he and his wife relocated to San Antonio. He began his legal career at the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office, where he served in the trial division. During his time as a prosecutor, Paul handled and tried a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases, including DWIs, thefts, assaults, murder, and capital murder trials.

After transitioning to criminal defense, Paul made headlines when he successfully defended the largest drug case at the time in Bexar County, winning a not-guilty verdict in State District Court. Today, Paul brings that same level of tenacity and courtroom experience to every case he takes on, relentlessly fighting to ensure fairness, justice, and the best possible outcome for his clients.
