Biography

Mr. Jones is a native of Atlanta. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1983 with a minor in history. Mr. Jones worked at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center for 5 years in the Flight Structures division working on projects related to the Space Telescope and Space Shuttle Solid Rocket Booster.

Mr. Jones obtained his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 1991. There he was a member and officer of the Moot Court Society, Research Graduate Assistant and legal extern at the Internal Revenue Service. While in law school he clerked at the firm of Clark & Mascaro. Upon graduation he was an associate attorney at the law firms of Kendall, Dixon & Turk and LawSmith.

Mr. Jones has been as a sole practitioner since 1994. He has been involved in over a 1,000 divorce, adoption and name change cases handling each case from initial consultation to final judgment. Mr. Jones has experience in filing and representing clients in the Metro Atlanta counties of Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, Henry, Douglas, Clayton, Rockdale, Newton, Forsyth and Fayette.

Mr. Jones is an active, licensed member of the State Bar of Geogia since 1991.
