Mr. Rob Usry

Robert Usry joined the firm in 2005 and feels lucky to practice law in Spartanburg, the community his wife and himself call home as they raise their four kids, who they jokingly refer to as “the Deuce.” They are both active at First Presbyterian Church, where Rob served twice as a deacon, and has worked to give back through board service with the local Red Cross and TOTAL Ministries, which helps provide food, clothing, and support to neighbors in need. In 2018, Governor Henry McMaster appointed Rob to the Spartanburg Area Mental Health Center Board, and he became chairman in 2022. Mental health affects more families than many realize, and he is grateful for the chance to help expand support and reduce stigma. Within the legal profession, Rob has served as a two-term board member of the state criminal defense lawyers association and chaired the South Carolina Bar’s personal injury and insurance committee. Since 2001, his practice has focused on helping injured workers and accident victims and defending people accused of crimes, including DUI. Rob has tried many cases and hearings, and is proud to be a voice for people who need one.
