Mr. Ryan Lawson

Ryan Lawson is an insurance defense attorney specializing in defense of workers’ compensation and premises liability litigation. Ryan actively counsels, advises, advocates for, and litigates on behalf of, companies ranging from local businesses to multi-national organizations, and prides himself on a history of efficient, dedicated, and results-oriented client service.

Ryan has won numerous cases on behalf of his clients at administrative hearings and in trial-division jurisdictions, advocated and argued in front of several appellate jurisdictions, advanced his client’s interests in oral arguments on multiple occasions, successfully defended numerous expert depositions, prosecuted and defended hundreds of lay-depositions, and obtained countless value-added settlements through alternative dispute resolution avenues.

Outside of his work in the courtroom, Ryan spends his professional time teaching, advising, and writing, and has been honored to be invited to teach on various topics at several national insurance companies and at seminars across the southeast. Ryan’s published work includes articles and analysis on topics ranging from defense of workers’ compensation cases involving cardiac pathology, to an analysis of O.S.H.A. regulations and their respective impact on post-accident drug screen protocols.
