Biography

Sam Bass is a pillar of the legal field with a success rate that speaks for itself. He was inspired to make a difference when he saw how large corporations and insurance companies often tried to avoid their responsibilities, now he fights to hold them accountable.

Sam Bass has a heart for service and a diverse educational background. In addition to his Bachelor’s from Washington & Lee University and law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, he was awarded a full scholarship by the Ministry of Education to study Chinese at National Taiwan University and spent time teaching English to preschoolers there. It’s this well-rounded experience and skill as a communicator that makes him so successful.

Sam’s outstanding record has not gone unnoticed. He has been rated by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2020, and was named One to Watch by Best Lawyers in 2021.

Sam is licensed to practice in law South Carolina and in numerous federal courts. He is also a certified mediator. When Sam is not in our Spartanburg, SC office, you can find him barbecuing or spending time with his wife and 3 children.
