Biography

Scott Buchanan joined the law firm of Eggers, Eggers, Eggers, & Eggers, PLLC after relocating from the Sandhills of North Carolina to the State’s mountains.

Scott obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Appalachian State University, and based upon that experience decided to become an attorney. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. While attending Campbell, he worked in the Blanchard Community Law Clinic, helping disadvantaged North Carolinians improve the quality of the employment opportunities.

Before finishing at Campbell, Scott also completed an externship with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, at its headquarters in Raleigh. At the NCSBI, Scott helped improve agent training on the topics of evidence and witness handling, among other projects.

Scott currently practices civil law, mostly focusing on transactional matters, business law, contracts, and real estate.
