Scott Furman has a breadth of legal experience focusing on identification and implementation of solutions to complex environmental issues. Scott’s knowledge of and expertise in Brownfield Redevelopment programs, and similar Voluntary Cleanup Programs, has enabled his clients to complete redevelopment and remediation projects in 14 different states. His work has brought him to nation- and world-wide matters, working on projects from New York City to China while representing individual clients, companies and corporations. In addition to brownfield redevelopment work, Scott has a strong transactional practice and has guided his clients through the closing of a $2.4 billion acquisition and many acquisitions valued between $25 million and $250 million. In addition, Scott has a burgeoning renewable energy practice and has advised clients on a multitude of renewable energy projects, including a variety of solar photovoltaic deals.
