Biography

Mr. Crough focuses his practice on personal injury litigation and insurance disputes. He handles matters involving serious orthopedic injuries and wrongful death, including automobile accidents, products liability, and premises liability. Mr. Crough also handles matters involving insurance coverage disputes and bad faith litigation.

Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Mr. Crough worked as a claims adjuster for a self-insured rental car company, and also as a claims manager for an insurance company. As a claims adjuster, Mr. Crough personally investigated, evaluated, and negotiated thousands of liability claims. As a claims manager, he oversaw a claims department and directed litigation strategy for cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, and products liability in fourteen different states.

Mr. Crough earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Stanford University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Mr. Crough is currently admitted to practice in the State of Colorado.

    He certainly has the ability and the willingness to evaluate the cases he chooses to file and dismisses those which are probably without merit, which is his obligation pursuant to Rule 11. He is straight forward, professional and a pleasure.
