Mr. Thomas P. Wynne

Thomas Wynne began his legal career with a strong academic and advocacy background. He earned his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law in May 2011 and served as Articles Editor for the International Law Review Association. His comment, “International Climate Change Policy: Copenhagen Accord and Beyond,” received honors, reflecting his strength in research and writing. Mr. Wynne was also elected to Phi Delta Phi and competed on mock trial teams that represented SMU in national competitions. Before entering private practice, he completed a federal district court clerkship with Judge Richard Schell in the Eastern District of Texas, an experience that helped shape his approach to litigation. In 2011, Mr. Wynne joined the Dallas criminal defense firm Milner Finn as an associate and was selected to attend the Texas Criminal Trial College, a rigorous program focused on criminal defense trial work. He is licensed in all Texas state courts and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Mr. Wynne stays actively involved in the defense bar through memberships in NACDL, TCDLA, DCDLA, the Dallas Bar Association, DAYL, and TYLA.
