Mr. Thomas T. Griffin

Thomas Griffin counsels and represents public and private employees and private businesses in a wide variety of state and federal employment matters including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, overtime, minimum wage, equal pay and other wage issues, contract issues, claims under Arizona’s paid sick leave laws, the Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”), the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”), Charges of Discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and the Civil Rights Division of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, retirement/disability issues (including issues relating to the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (“PSPRS”), the Corrections Officer Retirement Plan (“CORP”) and the Arizona State Retirement System (“ASRS”)), administrative appeals and drafting, reviewing, negotiating and litigating restrictive covenants (including non-competition/non-compete and non-solicitation/non-solicit provisions, confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements (“NDAs”) and trade secret agreements), severance agreements, settlement agreements and other employment agreements. Mr. Griffin is licensed to practice in Arizona state courts, the United States District Court for District of Arizona and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and regularly represents clients in state and federal courts, administrative tribunals, appeals, mediations and arbitrations. Mr. Griffin is a member of the Arizona Employment Lawyers Association.
