Mr. Trevor Richard Thomson

Trevor Thomson is an experienced trial lawyer and passionate advocate, who has spent his entire legal career standing up for people against the powerful. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Thomson began his legal career serving as an assistant public defender for the 20th Judicial Circuit in Fort Myers, Florida. There, he zealously fought to defend the rights of those who could not afford an attorney. During his time at the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Thomson gained extensive trial experience trying over twenty (20) jury trials in two years and was the attorney of record in over one thousand (1,000) criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors such as D.U.Is to complex felonies.

After serving as an assistant public defender, Mr. Thomson transitioned his practice from criminal defense to civil litigation. Mr. Thomson began his civil litigation practice fighting for homeowners and policy holders against big insurance companies who either underpaid or denied claims on residential and commercial property insurance policies. Mr. Thomson tried ten (10) civil jury trials during his seven years in property insurance, recovered millions of dollars for his clients, and obtained numerous verdicts as first chair against big insurance companies.

Today, Mr. Thomson continues to fight against injustice standing up for the injured and against at-fault parties, corporations, and large insurance companies in personal injury claims.

Mr. Thomson was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2008, Mr. Thomson graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Thomson was a member of the Men’s Ice Hockey team at Saint Joe’s. In 2014 he received his Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. When he is away from the courtroom, Mr. Thomson enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and is an avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams.
