Mr. W. Charles Day

W. Charles Day (Charles) is originally from Columbus Georgia. He attended GeorgiaPublic Schools and earned a BS degree from Columbus State University in 1996 with afocus on Political Science and Accounting. After undergraduate school he worked inPublic Accounting as a Staff Accountant at a local CPA firm. After a year in PublicAccounting, he was accepted to Cumberland School of law at Samford University inBirmingham, Alabama, earning a Juris Doctorate in 2000. During his time there he alsoattended Samford’s Business School, earning an MBA in 2000 as well. Another activitywhile in law school was an externship with district counsel of the Internal RevenueService.After law school, Charles entered private practice and began working in businesstransactions, tax and litigation, eventually focusing on insurance disputes. As a result ofthis experience Charles was contacted by a large regional medical center inquiringabout his assisting in insurance and financial matters. The regional medical center alsooperated a large insurance company, with which he assisted in many matters includingmanaged care agreements, disputes, and practices. While maintaining the regionalmedical center as a client and an office at their facility, he began to represent othermedical centers in and around the southeast region. As a result of a multitude ofsuccesses in this practice, he formed Aspirion Health Resources, LLC (Aspirion) toprovide claim management services to other facilities.After forming Aspirion, Charles developed a sales and operations teams that grew tomanage the most complex claims of facilities and physicians throughout the continentalUnited States.Charles’ practice focuses exclusively on healthcare matters, especially in regards toinsurance claims and managed care disputes. He is licensed in Georgia and Alabamaand the bulk of his practice is focused there. He is also admitted to numerous federaland state courts, including the United States Tax Court.
