Mr. William Thomas Davis: Attorney with Naggiar & Sarif, LLC

Biography

Mr. Davis has practiced extensively in the areas of family and domestic relations law since 2009.  A graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, Will chose to focus his practice on family law following his enrollment in a Guardian ad Litem clinic where he was sworn in to practice as a third year law student. Will works to develop meaningful relationships with his clients and opposing counsel, and he believes that a calm and reasonable approach to the practice of law is essential to successful resolution of domestic cases. Will recognizes that LGBT clients often face unique challenges in family law related issues, and Will brings many years of experience to the firm in representing LGBT family law clients – both before and after the landmark Obergefell marriage decision. Prior to attending law school, Will earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Georgia, and he tries to get back to Athens and Oxford as regularly as he can to cheer on the Bulldogs and the Rebels. A native and resident of Cobb County, Will has been an active member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2009 and is a member of the State Bar’s Family Law Section. Will currently serves as the President-Elect for the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyers Division (YLD) and is a member of the State Bar’s Executive Committee and Disciplinary Board.  Will is also a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Cobb County Bar Association, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, and the Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia. While in law school, Will served as trial advocacy chairperson for the Ole Miss Law Moot Court Board and was a member of the Pace Law School National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition team.  In his free time, Will enjoys traveling, college football, and is a proud participant in the Atlanta Bard Show – a musical performed by local lawyers and judges as a fundraiser for the Atlanta Bar Foundation.
