Mrs. Anna-Karina Parker: Attorney with Parker & Bain, LLC

Biography

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mrs. Parker is a proud alumna of the New York Military Academy, graduating in 1992. She pursued higher education with dedication, earning her bachelor's degree in 1996 and a master's degree in 1999. Her career began in youth ministry with local churches, and she established the non-profit Home of Agape, focusing on supporting inner-city youth in the juvenile system. After Weed & Seed took over much of this outreach, she spent time in Montana, working at the St. Labre Indian School with the Cheyenne and Crow reservations. Relocating to South Carolina in 2003, Mrs. Parker joined the Department of Social Services in Child Protective Services. She later attended the Charlotte School of Law, securing an internship with the Charlotte Mecklenburg District Attorney’s Office and serving as in-house counsel for Family Dollar. Graduating with honors, she has published work on the Fourth Amendment and GPS searches. Today, Mrs. Parker passionately advocates for children, families, and the disabled or injured, focusing her legal practice on child custody, divorce, Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and criminal defense.
