Biography

Fritznie Jarbath is the managing partner/attorney for the family division and Jarbath Peña Law Group. She is an experienced attorney with more than a decade of family law experience. She has handled hundreds of family cases from simplified dissolution matters to in-depth negotiated settlement agreements and complex family trials, including a few appeals. She has a passion for family law that keeps her fiercely advocating for clients. Her ultimate goal is to ensure that her clients get out of the situation they are in and into that new beginning they are ready for. Fritznie knew at a young age that she wanted to practice law because she would turn every conversation into a debate. As a child of Haitian immigrants, Fritznie knew that her love for debate was not an admired trait. Despite that, her parents always encouraged her to follow her dreams. With their support, she became an attorney admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and the Southern District of Florida. She is fluent in both Haitian Creole and English. She attended Florida International University College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate and she attended the University of Miami and received her undergraduate degree. Fritznie’s love for family does not stop at just practicing law. She is an active member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is dedicated to serving the legal profession and serving the community. She volunteers her time to sit on several committees within the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is also on the board of the Legal Services of Greater Miami. Mrs. Jarbath not only served on the Grievance Committee of the Florida Bar but she was also selected as the president during her term. She has been selected as the Top 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers and received the distinguished honor of being selected in Class 1 of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy. She has also served as the president of the Haitian Lawyers Association. She is a passionate advocate that is dedicated to her clients as well as her community. In her free time, Fritznie enjoys spending time with her blended family of five, . . . or make that seven, including the dogs. When she can find the time, she enjoys watching foreign films and sci-fi movies, as well as reading a good book while enjoying a sip of red wine.
