Biography

Hayley Worrell’s dedication to criminal defense and post-conviction advocacy is deeply personal. After witnessing the devastating impact of her husband’s wrongful conviction, she gained firsthand insight into the fear, uncertainty, and helplessness families experience when navigating the courts and prison system. That lived experience drives her practice every day. Hayley knows what it is like to sit powerless in a courtroom and watch a loved one’s future hang in the balance, and she is committed to ensuring her clients and their families never feel alone, unheard, or left in the dark. She believes the strongest defense is built collaboratively, working closely with clients and families who often know the facts best. Hayley emphasizes transparency and open communication, gives every client her direct phone number, and makes herself available day or night. While attending the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, she served in the Post-Conviction Clinic, preparing petitions for post-conviction relief, commutation, parole materials, pardons, and habeas filings. Her extensive post-conviction work strengthens her trial advocacy by helping her spot issues early, anticipate vulnerabilities, and build a defense designed to protect rights at every stage.
