Biography

Adriana is an attorney with more than 15 years of experience in the corporate world. She is originally from Colombia, where she is licensed to practice and worked several years for two of the leading law firms in Bogotá. She also worked at the Ministry of Communications, where she was awarded a medal for exemplary service. Adriana then moved to New York City, where she is licensed to practice. There, she worked for six years at one of the top law firms in the United States. During her career in New York, she was recognized by Latin Lawyer Magazine both as a “Top Cat” and as one of the top 30 leading young lawyers in the region. Before moving back to the United States, Adriana worked in Ecuador as International Counsel and later as General Counsel for a heavy crude oil pipeline company.In her career, Adriana has provided full range representation to clients in transactional matters. She has represented both purchasers and sellers in cross-border stock and asset acquisitions in various sectors, has represented borrowers, sponsors and lenders in project financings and debt restructurings, and has provided general corporate, transactional and strategic advice. With both her Civil law and Common law training and her multifaceted experience, Adriana brings a global and multicultural experience to the table.
