Biography

Brittney has a broad base of legal experience which enables her to provide practical solutions to complex issues. She has served for ten years as in-house legal counsel for two different Texas-based downstream energy companies managing a wide variety of legal issues. Her experience includes first hand participation in litigation of complex commercial lawsuits, managing outside counsel and litigation in multiple jurisdictions, negotiating and drafting complex contracts and agreements, risk management, and corporate compliance issues. Brittney is a problem solver and works tirelessly to achieve results for her clients.Aside from her business experience as corporate legal counsel, Brittney has provided legal services in a public service role, representing low income and indigent clients as a legal aid lawyer in New York City. She cut her legal teeth in the inner-city courtrooms of New York, an experience which prepared her well for the rigors of the corporate world.Away from the practice of law, Brittney enjoys reading and traveling with her family.
