Ms. Carol Anne Johnson

Carol Johnson practices law in Florida and South Carolina and holds active memberships with the Florida Bar, The South Carolina Bar, NAELA, the Oconee Bar Association, and the SPCA Professional Advisors Committee. Previously an appointed trustee of the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation Community Law Program, she has a documented record of pro bono service—recognized by both the Florida Bar and South Carolina Bar —particularly for foster children and vulnerable populations. Carol regularly speaks on estate planning, elder law and special needs issues for organizations including NAMI, Columbia University, Clemson’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, the Florida Bar Speakers Bureau, and the South Carolina Bar CLE Commission. Her community-focused work complements her personal experience as a single mother who cites her son as a source of professional motivation; she also finds renewal caring for her young Quarter Horse/Tennessee Walker. Carol offers seminars for local and senior groups on estate planning essentials, protecting legacies, Medicaid planning, transitional planning for special-needs children, and other key elder-law subjects. Her practice includes primarily estate and legacy planning, including probate avoidance through Trusts, Trust administration, business entity development, and family law issues (divorce, child custody and support, etc.)
