Biography

Carolyn L. Secor, born on February 26, 1970, in Harvey, Illinois, graduated from Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1993, she moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, to pursue her studies at the University of South Florida. Ms. Secor earned her law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2000 and subsequently became a member of the Florida Bar. Since her admission, she has specialized in Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, and Landlord/Tenant law, while also obtaining her M.B.A. from Stetson. In January 2005, Ms. Secor relocated to Okinawa, Japan, with her husband, a U.S. Air Force Combat Controller, where she began teaching for UMUC-Asia. Currently, she practices bankruptcy law, with a focus on mortgage loan assistance and debt settlement.
