Biography

Carrie Trotter focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, IRC Section 1031 qualified exchanges, business organization, and general corporate matters.

As the firm’s managing partner, Carrie oversees daily operations, financial management, and professional development, while implementing innovative technologies and processes to enhance client service and streamline legal work. She is dedicated to providing clients with clear, professional, and supportive guidance.

In estate planning, Carrie helps clients develop comprehensive, customized plans. From drafting trusts to Last Wills and Testaments, she ensures every detail is addressed to protect clients’ families and assets while providing peace of mind.

In probate, Carrie guides clients through administering estates, whether probating a will, handling an intestate estate, or managing guardianship and conservatorship matters. She also serves as County Administrator and County Conservator for Bartow and Paulding Counties, assisting with cases assigned by Judges Blake Scoggins and Angela Jackson. Carrie earned her B.A. in English from the University of Georgia and her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. She is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of Advocates for Children and the Cartersville-Bartow Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia. Carrie grew up in Cartersville and has deep roots in the community. She now lives in Marietta with her two daughters and their cats.
