Cherie previously worked for Department of Social Services in abuse and neglect cases. She is very good in this area. She sometimes does adoption work with her partner L. Dale Dove. In general family court matters she does "cookie cutter" work and does not handle new twists or wrinkles well. She has a great demeanor so long as one agrees with her, but does not listen well to contrary arguments.
