Attorney Chinwe’ N. Foster is the founder and principal attorney of The Foster Law Firm, LLC. Attorney Foster is a native of Columbus, Ohio and has lived and practiced law as an attorney in Atlanta since 2005.

Attorney Foster attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate studies. While pursuing a major in Criminology at The Ohio State University, Chinwe Foster dedicated her time to mentoring underprivileged young girls in the Columbus, Ohio area and tutoring other college students.

Immediately after graduating from The Ohio State University in 2002, Chinwe’ Foster moved to Washington, D.C. where she attended Howard University School of Law. Attorney Foster models the way she practices law based on Howard University School of Law’s mission statement, which reads, “A lawyer’s either a social engineer or… a parasite on society … A social engineer[is] a highly skilled, perceptive, sensitive lawyer who [understands] the Constitution of the United States and [knows] how to explore its uses in the solving of problems of local communities and in bettering conditions of [it’s] citizens.”

After obtaining her Juris Doctorate and passing the Georgia Bar in 2005, Attorney Foster began her legal career as a Criminal Defense Attorney with the Atlanta Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office. While at the Public Defender’s Office, Attorney Foster received ample training and obtained immeasurable trial experience. Attorney Foster left the Public Defender’s Office in 2010 to pursue other business ventures, become a trial consultant for other criminal defense attorneys, as well as become an adjunct professor teaching Conflict Management and Public Relations.

As a Criminal Defense Attorney, Attorney Foster has represented thousands of individuals in felony cases across the State of Georgia. Attorney Foster has represented individuals in almost any type of criminal case in Georgia, from simple drug possession to Murder. In 2012, Attorney Foster added Family Law to her practice. As a Family Law Attorney, Attorney Foster has assisted clients in receiving favorable results in Divorce, Legitimation, Paternity Actions, Child Custody, Child Support, Alimony, Property Settlements and much more.
