Bowen graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors with a B.A.S. in Addiction Counseling, with an emphasis in victim/witness services, and an A.A. with honors in Legal Assisting from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas in December 2002. She received her Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth in December 2007.
