Biography

Elizabeth Athy is an Associate at Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP, where she represents the Firm’s clients in a variety of medical malpractice matters.

Prior to joining MCB, Elizabeth held associate attorney and law clerk positions at different firms in the New York area, most recently serving as an associate attorney at a mid-sized insurance defense firm. In her various capacities, she has drafted diverse legal documents; performed legal research; conducted depositions; coordinated litigation matters with clients and insurance carriers; aided in trial preparation; and appeared in court as needed.

Earlier in her career, Elizabeth held legal internships at the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct, and at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. Collectively, these multiple roles have provided key experience in all aspects of complex litigation.

Elizabeth received her B.A. from Fordham University in 2017. She earned her J.D. from New York Law School in 2023. She is admitted to practice in New York.
