Ms. Ellen K. Begley: Attorney with Sutton Law Group

Biography

During an era when law practice specialization is the trend, Ellen Begley bucks legal industry norms by serving as the Sutton Law Group’s legal generalist. Ellen works across the firm’s practice areas, leveraging her unique combination of business acumen and legal knowledge and skill to help clients solve the legal issues they face.

A native of Peachtree Corners, Georgia, Ellen is a “Double Bear,” having received her Bachelor of Arts (2013) and Juris Doctor (2016) degrees from Mercer University. Though admitted to the State Bar of Georgia shortly after law school, Ellen began her career choosing business over law practice, working in business development for several technology start-up firms.

Since joining Sutton Law Group, she has represented individuals, business, insurers, self-insured companies, and servicing agents throughout Georgia for general civil liability litigation and insurance coverage counsel and litigation. This, in addition to using her background in business to provide external general counsel services to the firm’s clients.

Ellen is licensed to practice in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the Georgia Supreme Court.

Outside of work, Ellen enjoys hiking, camping, and kayaking with her dog, Quinn, learning new craft skills, baking, and fly fishing.
