Biography

Eugenia (“Genie”) Wooten Iredale is a litigator with an emphasis on business and commercial disputes, insurance coverage, and employment law.

Ms. Iredale advises and represents clients involved in disputes arising from breaches of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, employment discrimination, and theft of computer information. She also works with insurance policyholders who have disputes with their insurance carriers.

Ms. Iredale has represented clients in Georgia Magistrate, State, and Superior Courts; the Georgia Court of Appeals; the Georgia Supreme Court; the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia; the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Ms. Iredale graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2004. While at the University of Georgia, Ms. Iredale served as an Editorial Board member and an Articles Editor on the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. She was also involved in student efforts to raise money for the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

Prior to law school, Ms. Iredale earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Biological Sciences from Clemson University in 2001. Upon graduation, she was awarded the prestigious Faculty Scholarship Award for attaining the highest academic average in her graduating class and the Matt Locke Award for “outstanding leadership with regard to service and devotion to humankind and Clemson University.” While at Clemson, Ms. Iredale served in a number of roles including Student Senate President.

Ms. Iredale lives in Atlanta with her husband and two sons.
