Ms. Giovanna Mosca Franklin

Giovanna Franklin's journey from the east coast of New Jersey to her current role as a pivotal member of Becker Franklin Rovang, PLLC is marked by a wealth of diverse experiences. After completing her English degree with a pre-law concentration at James Madison University in Virginia, she made her mark in the political arena in the Washington, D.C. area, notably serving in various capacities in the United States Senate for New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg. Climbing the ranks from intern to Executive Assistant, Giovanna gained invaluable insights into the workings of government.

Her legal career took a distinctive turn when she attended Tulane Law School in New Orleans, becoming a commissioned officer in the Navy JAG Corps while still a student. As a JAG officer, she served as both a prosecutor and defense attorney in criminal cases, showcasing her versatility. Her role as the primary attorney for submarine commanders at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor further exemplifies her capacity for handling complex legal matters, including court martial proceedings, administrative separation proceedings, and command investigations.

Transitioning to civilian life in 2007, Giovanna joined the Kitsap County Prosecutor’s Office, where she spent eight years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, primarily handling felony cases. Subsequently, in 2016, she expanded her legal footprint by serving as a Contract Prosecutor in Pierce County for multiple cities. Between 2016 and 2019, she worked as a Final Agency Decision Writer for the U.S. Postal Service, preparing Final Agency Decisions on the merits of employment discrimination complaints.

Since 2019, Giovanna has found fulfillment in her role as a Judge Pro Tempore in Kitsap County, contributing to the judicial process. Simultaneously, she plays a crucial role at Becker Franklin Rovang, PLLC, managing social media and engaging in special projects, all while immersing herself in the nuances of personal injury law—a testament to her adaptability.
