She ensures they understand their rights and works tirelessly to secure the most favourable outcome, providing the strategic advice and strong advocacy they need and deserve.Janessa maintains a broad criminal and corporate litigation practice. Prior to joining the firm, Janessa practised employment and human rights law at a large litigation firm. She has represented clients at all levels of court in B.C., and before regulatory and administrative tribunals in B.C. and Ontario.Janessa was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2018 after completing her B.A. from the University of British Columbia and her J.D. from the University of Victoria.Law isn’t Janessa’s only passion — outside of work, you may find her travelling the world with her husband, gardening, volunteering or enjoying a glass of wine.
