Biography

Jennifer Abbott is an associate attorney in Cranfill Sumner’s Charlotte office, where she focuses her practice on risk management and workers’ compensation . She earned her law degree from Rutgers Law School and her undergraduate degree in Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy.

During law school, Jennifer received the Pro Bono Publico Award for her volunteer work with South Jersey Legal Services Bankruptcy Project and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Project, providing critical support to the Camden, NJ community.

Before attending law school, Jennifer served in the U.S. Navy as a Liaison Officer to the U.S. Senate, an executive assistant to the Navy’s Chief of Legislative Affairs, and a White House Social Aide. She continues her service as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
