Attorney Kara Goodman practices exclusively in family law,
drawing from her personal experiences growing up with divorced parents. She
earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at
Asheville, majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology. Kara pursued her
Juris Doctorate in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she embarked on her legal
journey.
For over nine years, Kara honed her family law practice with
one of the nation's leading domestic law firms, passionately advocating for the
rights of fathers and husbands. She not only excelled in her legal practice but
also mentored and taught other family law attorneys regarding family law and
trial advocacy.
With a solid 12 years of legal experience, Kara founded The
Goodman Law Firm in 2021, where she continues to practice family law exclusively.
Kara believes that family law is not one-size-fits-all. She
takes on roles as an advocate, counselor, and adversary for her clients. Her
approach promotes co-parenting and aims to minimize unnecessary conflict in
family law matters. She advocates for equitable parenting time when
