Biography

Kedra M. Gotel is a dedicated attorney with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Georgia Southern University and a Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law. During her time in Massachusetts, she gained valuable experience as a Judicial Extern in the Hampden County Housing Court, where she drafted memoranda and opinions to aid the court in cases involving evictions, housing code violations, and title disputes. Currently, Kedra is an active member of the American Bar Association, contributing to committees focused on enhancing the lives of individuals involved in family law litigation. Her published works include “Alternatives to Filing an Appeal: Motions for Reconsideration” and “Determining the Gross Income of a Military Service Member.” Kedra also dedicates numerous hours annually to pro bono work in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Outside of her legal career, she enjoys shopping with her teenage daughter, reading self-help books, and blogging about legal topics. Kedra is also exploring video content creation on YouTube to engage her audience further.
