Biography

I grew up in Sandy, Oregon, and I am an outdoor enthusiast. I enjoy walking, hiking, biking, jogging and swimming. I was interested in the law as a way to help people with their problems.

I attended Oregon State University and earned my B.S. Degree with a minor in Political Science. I graduated with summa cum laude honors. I worked with Audrey Back at ASOSU student advising office and learned that helping students with their legal issues was challenging, rewarding and never the same issue twice. Everyone had a unique issue that they needed help with.

I graduated from The University of Oregon School of Law in 1998. I clerked at a personal injury law office and learned that I could help one client at a time and make a difference in someone’s life. I found this very rewarding.

I had my son while attending law school. I learned how to balance work and family responsibilities. I offer flexible hours today as a result. I am able to meet clients in the Eugene are for later evening appointments and weekend appointments when necessary.

I charge a reasonable fee for my services. I understand the financial strain most people are experiencing. I have been a single parent and also dealt with student loans and unexpected medical expenses. I know how challenging these issues are.

My goal is to help clients get a fresh start and get ahead of their debts so they can live happy and healthy lives. Families deserve to plan for their own retirement and save for their children’s college education.
