Biography

Lacey McMullan is an analytical thinker and seasoned attorney with extensive experience litigating civil rights cases in federal court, including lawsuits alleging police misconduct and violations of detainee/inmate rights under 42 U.S.C. Section 1983. She is a zealous plaintiff’s advocate with a passion for social justice.

She is also experienced in employment litigation including lawsuits fighting federal and state wage and hour violations, as well as age, race, and gender discrimination and hostile work environments. Additionally, Lacey also practices in False Claims Act whistleblower litigation, class actions, and appellate practice. She excels in written advocacy.

Prior to joining Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, Lacey provided expert counsel on plaintiffs’-side civil rights, personal injury, and employment matters that have secured millions of dollars in compensation for injured persons. She previously managed the civil rights caseload for a Tennessee-based law firm, and served a two year term as a Staff Attorney with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and as a civil litigation associate for a Vault 100 law firm in Washington, DC.
