Biography

Ling E. Dai has been an attorney at Leslie Wm. Adams & Associates since 2016. Ling specializes in commercial litigation cases, but she has worked on a wide variety of cases, including breach of contract, DTPA, wage and hour disputes, sexual harassment matters, construction, bankruptcy, and debt/creditor claims, among others. Ling's experience also includes securing temporary restraining orders, temporary injunctions and permanent injunctions against clients' counterparts. Prior to joining Leslie Wm. Adams & Associates, Ling established her own firm and practiced immigration law.

Ling earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and shortly thereafter, Ms. Dai pursued her graduate studies in applied linguistics in Beijing, China. She then received her Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, Ling clerked with a full service business law firm; state appellate justice and trial court judges. During her clerkship with the judiciary, Ling gained extensive experience in both trial and appellate advocacy.

Ling is fluent in English and native Mandarin Chinese, and also possesses language skills in French. Ling is also a certified mediator pursuant to the Tex. Civ. Prac. Rem. Code §154.052(a). Ling is a member of State Bar of Texas, Phi Delta Phi, and Appellate Section of SBOT.

In her spare time, Ling devotes her time to helping others by serving as guardian ad litem and attorney at litem in civil and probate proceedings.
