Ms. Marsha C. Kennedy

In every part of Marsha Kennedy's family law practice, her focus is not only on guiding clients through the legal steps of divorce, but also on helping them start rebuilding their lives afterward. This work is deeply personal to her. After going through her own separation and divorce and supporting close friends through theirs, Marsha became committed to making the divorce process less damaging and more respectful. She has seen how much harm conflict can cause, and she works to help people move through divorce with as much grace and dignity as possible. Beyond her law practice, for the past seven years Marsha has led divorce workshops in the Charlotte area, helping people understand both the emotional and legal realities of ending a marriage. She has also worked with the Council for Children’s Rights, supporting children affected by divorce, and later trained as a Parent Coordinator to help parents manage ongoing conflicts after separation. As a licensed family and divorce mediator, Marsha strongly believes mediation can resolve difficult issues in a more constructive way. Every family is different, and she works hard to find the right solution for each client.
