Ms. MaryCatherine Crock

MaryCatherine Crock was born and raised in Volusia County, Florida. A proud graduate, Ms. Crock received her Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University. While attending law school, Ms. Crock was a member of the trial team and executive board, placing first in the National Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition. She was the recipient of the book award in Cross Examination and served as the research assistant within the Constitutional Law department. She was an active member of the Association for Criminal Justice and served on the executive board. Through the summer terms, Ms. Crock interned for both the State Attorney’s Office, Second Judicial Circuit, and Office of the Public Defender, Seventh Judicial Circuit. Ms. Crock also served as an extern for Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal and completed her last semester serving as a Certified Legal Intern for the State Attorney’s Office, Second Judicial Circuit. Prior to joining Rice Law Firm, Ms. Crock served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit and the Seventh Judicial Circuit. Additionally, Ms. Crock served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Seventh Judicial Circuit. During her tenure within the criminal law sector, Ms. Crock handled and tried a wide variety of felony and misdemeanor cases, including: domestic violence, white collar/fraud, child abuse, aggravated battery and stalking, drug trafficking, burglary, and driving under the influence. A skilled litigator with an eye for detail, Ms. Crock effectively and passionately represents each client throughout the legal process.
